Cote Brasserie - Marylebone in City of London

The food was good, the place looked lovely and the service was quick! We were a big group so they managed to find a lovely table for us on a busy night.

Good, polite and attentive service. Medium rare steak cooked just right and all food delivered hot on hot plates. Good wine at reasonable cost. Happily go again.

My experience today 21/02/2022.I walked into cote, there was about 6-7 customers already seated in the restaurant and the restaurant staff were by the bar - quite a few staff. The restaurant was quiet and didn’t look busy.As soon as I entered it took them a while to come over to greet me and put me on a table, a table for one ( a lady with a fringe and pony tail gives me a table - I’ll call her lady x in this review). From the minute I entered and I was waiting to be seated at a table, I just got like an off vibe from the staff, almost like eh what are you doing here. Before I’m given the menu lady x says to me “we only accept cards by the way” I responded “yes, that’s fine”I order my food with one of the female staff. A few minutes later lady x comes up to me and says what would I like to order. I told her I ordered my food with your colleague already. She walks away.Whilst I’m waiting for my food. I see another lady (a customer) enter by herself, she’s greeted straight away by the staff and given a table. Then a few minutes later another lady (a customer) enters the restaurant and she’s greeted straight away. In my head I’m thinking “hmm wow, how comes they were greeted straight away but it took a while for the staff to acknowledge that I was in the restaurant”My food arrives, I eat, and lady x collects my bowl. I ask lady x “can I have the bill please” she goes sure. It took her awhile to bring me the bill - she was literally chit chatting away and giggling with her colleagues behind the bar, whilst I’m waiting to pay. So I put on my coat to try and get her attention. She comes to me with the bill and says “oh sorry I forgot” - I didn’t respond. Paid and left.Poor customer service from the minute I entered. I should’ve left from the minute when I got the vibe that my presences wasn’t wanted.

10/10very welcoming place, the service was exceptional, our waitress comfort did an amazing job with keeping us comfortable, as well as the food. The crème brûlée was out of this world, which is now one for my favorite desserts. i’ve never met such a sweet manager, Fernando, who was very nice to me and my friend who came along.thank you so much for the wonderful experience will definitely be coming again soon!

I love the Onion Soup here among other dishes. The location is great and the service is excellent.

Managed to fit a large group in the last minute - good food, options for all - small snack starters or decent portion mains - friendly for veggies too

A great establishment.The staff are welcoming and professional. Very accommodating considering that I had not made a booking in advance. They are very careful in checking allergies and dietary requirements. Quick table service.The dishes are generously proportioned and served piping hot. Good food and great location right by Marylebone High Street. Nice outside tables under awning. Service is very pleasant but can be slower during peak times. Great place for morning breakfasts brunches too -- but this is my local for an excellent steak frites.
