Delhi Brasserie - Soho in City of London

Friends found this by Googling for a local restaurant on a boys night out. Best reviews said "rice" was one of their best dishes...which was mightily unfair, as we found the food to be very tasteful, well sized, served by friendly staff, and reasonably priced for a central London location.

We enjoyed our meal here. Good food and served staff that made the experience a joyful one. Infectious smiles from them ! 😀

Gorgeous veggie Thali in cosy, colourful surroundings, with warm and friendly staff. Very reasonably priced too. Perfect!

Tiny portions and they added additional items to the bill without asking. Ordered a few entrees and mains. The mains portions were tiny, with most only having 4 pieces of meat inside. The flavour was good, but for the quantity completely overpriced. Upon receiving the bill they also added dips that they brought out with the papadums that we expected were complimentary, but they were not and they did not tell us that they would be additional. Would not recommend.

Very nice food at reasonable prices. Good portions and flavour to die for. Good service would highly recommend this restaurant. Staff efficient and friendly.

The over priced place serves main course at the quantity of starters. And will insist everyone in the gang to order main course. So if you are going with friends and if one who doesn't want to eat much and wants to have just some starters with drinks, they probably won't consider. And when asked about the quantity of the main course being less, the waiter starts getting loud and rude. Never expected such service from a restaurant in such a posh area.

Words can't describe the service and ambience. It was perfect. The food was marvellous too. Great value for money too

Very nice restaurant with a wide selection of foods and drinks. The music is at ambient background volume so it is very comfortable to talk and hear everyone even when it is full (and when I arrived with 4 peers it was empty, so we had experienced a whole scale). The dessert selection is also nice, especially coconut icecream served in frozen real coconut husk (pictured).

Great authentic Indian place. Very good prices, tasty Curry and lots of specials I haven't seen or had anywhere else. Bread and meats came steaming hot; the staff was very friendly and helpful, kitchen was prompt and fast, starters, delhi sweets and ice cream were to die for! Highly recommend and would go again!
