Hakkasan Mayfair in City of London

This restaurant is exceptional. Well deserving of their Michelin Star. The decor is dim and comfortable. The music is not too upbeat but sets the mood extremely well. Now the food. Oh the food. The taste is out of this world. We tried a few different items and they were divine (will upload pictures soon). Definitely going back to try more from the menu and would highly recommend.

Went for Valentine's day dinner, we ordered the set menus. It started with very unique cocktails, which we loved. Every single dish that followed was outstanding in every respect - taste, authenticity, presentation. I don't remember the last time I went somewhere and loved absolutely everything, but this was definitely it.Place was crowded, but not too noisy, music was very nice and the atmosphere was relaxing. Service was impeccable.

The most luxurious Chinese food you can experience.Simply sensational.You need to book in advance.Fantastic ambiance.Staff are brilliant, although there usually standard 15% service charge (£47), but its worth it.We had the Shou set menu, £102 per person.£13 for a G&T, £6.50 bottle of Mahou.Thoroughly recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat

Food was very tasty, we had the CNY menu, yet we were left feeling like we did not get enough food for what we paid. In Michelin Star restaurants, 100-120£ get you a whole set of dishes per person, yet 170£ pp left us sharing 4 mains between 3 people. The music is too loud and the service is too noticeable. Compared to other restaurants in the area, it does not stand out at all. Very mediocre.

Over all nice restaurant, reception and and the waitresses were all good with high standards. Food quality, and presentation were amazing, I thought I might see more variety of food.

What can I say. Absolutely stunning food and great atmosphere in this place. Definitely for a special occasion. The food was delightful and exquisite, cooked to perfection all dishes with the perfect detailing and condiments to suit. If you like oriental food then this place must be visited great lunch. Make sure you book your table before as they are constantly booked up.

This place has a great atmosphere and excellent service. They’re food is great as well. We order the classic dumpling platter and it was great. We also ordered the duck with caviar. It was quite a big portion for two people so I would recommend sharing. They bring the first part on top of flat bread and it’s already cut into squares and prepared for you. Then you can order the second course with a sauce if you choosing and it comes shredded. We also got the Hakka noodles which are a must. They duck salad is also very fresh and delicious.

Amazing food but I felt like the gap between the starters and mains was a bit too much. Also, during the reservation, I had mentioned it was my partner's birthday, I would have expected a small dessert with happy birthday to come out but that didn't happen, not sure why they ask for the occasion whilst booking. Apart from that, amazing restaurant, the bouncers and waiters were also very nice, would definitely go back! Portions sizes were just right!

We chose this place to celebrate our success in the passing year 2021 and it was a wonderful celebration! Every dish we have tried was exquisite, flavourful and visually extremely appealing. The highlights of our beautiful dinner have resulted in the below photos. We are looking forward to our next visit at Hakkasan soon!

Very nice atmosphere. Seating arrangements are nice and intimate. The food arrives promptly and is delicious! We had the veggie spring rolls, vegan dumplings, veggie noodles, veggie rice, satay chicken and the chicken clay pot. Everything was just divine. A great cocktail selection too!
