Imaginative takes on classic Spanish dishes and tapas, with a grand, tiled upstairs dining room.

No flexibility on their 24hr cancellation policy. We cancelled yesterday around 6pm for a business lunch today (one of our clients caught Covid) restaurant just called to say we are still being charged £20 pp (x7). Not great for business lunches which need flexibility . I'll be looking for restaurants without these cancellation fees in future esp. as things are pretty much back to normal in our office for booking business lunches.

The resturant is very nice. Staff are amazing. Food is great, infact lots of Spanish eat here. Had prowns in garlic sauce as a starter and the small peace of cochinijo which was very filling a d tasty. Tried also from our table, the Solomillo iberico (amazing) and Steak tartar (best ever tried) where amazing

Interior. Service. Food . In that order .Beautiful ambiance and decor . Very relaxing and stylistic environment. Staff are authenticity Spanish, impeccable and incredibly friendly. However , the foodis limited in diversity and presentation is overall mediocre. Certainly doesn’t command the price i.e. 1 main & 3 small tapas dishes for £85

Honestly brilliant Spanish restaurant with right in spot services and great taste. Jamon is great and the Iberian pork with foie gras is ver tasty.

It’s a shame we had a negative experience here as the restaurant itself is beautiful and we were really looking forward to it. We walked into a packed restaurant and were asked to sit on a bar table with bar stools which was extremely uncomfortable and unable to fit many plates of food on. I wondered if the other guests who were dressed smarter or were expected to spend more money would’ve been offered the same table. Food was extremely overpriced, the cost of 2 drinks and 2 starters was the amount I would expect to pay for a 3 course meal for two.

Decided to visit on the spur of the moment for an early evening dinner. Very impressed with the level of service and attentiveness from the waiting staff.Menu had a good choice and quality excellent. The menu appears more dining than Spanish tapas. But maybe changes depending on time of day.Recommended.

The building and interior is beautiful, and food is of a high quality but this is one of the worst restaurants I have been to in regards to food allergies. My boyfriend is allergic to nuts which is a common allergy we do not usually have any issues with when dining out. At Hispania multiple waiters could not say what dishes had nuts in and avoided us for long periods as they were not trained in this at all and were very reluctant to either say what dishes were safe or to find someone else who could do this. They eventually dropped off a colour coded laminated kitchen guide we did not understand (neither did the waiters) so we were stuck in the same position of not being certain what dishes had nuts in or not and being given no help from staff. I would recommend giving Hispania a wide berth if you have any allergies or intolerances as this restaurant is not safe, and as I now see is noted by many reviewers the service is dreadful.

The best Spanish food in town! Ingredients are of the highest quality. The atmosphere is also really good, perfect for business dinner or dates.

Very nice food and restaurant. But can’t give a high rating to a restaurant that charged us £18 for a plate of chips and 2 eggs (we asked for the vegetarian option - usually includes ham. But they charged us the same.)

Great venue and good, excellent service and the generous manager gave us free aperitifs!
