We were quite excited to try Ida and it’s with a bit of disappointment that I end up giving the experience a 3 out of 5. The experience was a bit of a hit and miss - I really feel that the service wasn’t great and this is a massive missed opportunity for the restaurant. In summary- the food was excellent. For starters we had the burrata dish which was delicious. For mains, the pasta was really fantastic and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The desserts were average and probably a tad overpriced- the vibe and decor is definitely cozy, and it has a nice buzzing atmosphere- the main drawback for us was the service. The servers didn’t technically do anything wrong - but are wholly disinterested and honestly come across as a bit hostile and unwelcoming. A smile or some chit chat actually go a long way to creating a warm, cozy atmosphere and honestly this was completely missing. This really is a pity as it detracts from the magic this place could conjure

This place is a pure gem. Dont' expect a super insta friendly place, it is pretty lowkey but still very cute. Real authentic Italian food. The pasta were absolutely divine (had the lamb bolognese). Hands down the best Italian restaurant I've tried so far in London. The place is small and easily full so better to make a reservation beforehand.

Absolutely incredible meal here for my wife's birthday. Every course was delicious, fresh and exciting and the staff were brilliantly informative when we were making our choices. Can't wait to return and try the things we didn't have last night!

Took my Mum here for her birthday as wanted to support a family run Italian, and eat authentic food in a cosy atmosphere. Unfortunately this wasn't our experience. The restaurant was cold and the toilets weren't clean. The bill was expensive for the quality of the food. They didn't have menus, instead having to look at menus on your phone - my Mum is in her seventies and doesn't have a smartphone, so this meant me having to read from the website for her. I had seen Ida in an article about Italian restaurants to try in West London but I wouldn't recommend for a special occasion, or for the price.

Home style Italian cooking at its best. Menu is consise, focused on quality ingredients and handmade pasta. Cosy family atmosphere.

Although the secret may now be out regarding how good this neighbourhood gem is, I’ll happily continue booking a table in advance here. Tonight we enjoyed delicious hand rolled pasta, friendly, relaxed service and an overall wonderful vibe, and I look forward to returning for more yummy food here. Thank you for a great dinner. I can think of no better authentic Italian restaurant than Ida.

Absolutely excellent, the restaurant is very prettily decorated and has great ambiance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the drinks were delicious and the food was brilliant. On top of all this it's very reasonably priced! The steak was cooked perfectly and was excellent however the pasta was the real highlight, may go for two pasta portions next time!

I definitely loved this restaurant. It’s definitely a proper Italian restaurant and all the ingredients are extremely high quality. I can say they have the best burrata in London also such a cozy place. :) highly recommended

A charming, quite bohemian little Italian restaurant near Queens Park station. Very cosy and welcoming. The gnocchi ragu for me was a bit claggy, slightly chewy, but the sauce was delicious. The Tagliatelle al ragù marchigiano, however, was delicious! Super rich, deep flavour, perfect pasta. I really enjoyed it and could have eaten a bucket load!Nice chianti on the wine menu too. Definitely worth a visit
