Whether you’re visiting for the lively atmosphere or to enjoy the Italian or Asian/Sushi cuisine, Sumosan will be sure to exceed your expectations. With the restaurant and bar spread over two floors and a late night club in the basement, this is still one of the top places to be seen in London for late night entertainment and dining.

I was so excited by this menu! But what a let down. 1. The service was terrible- hard to find a waiter, being rushed through our order, from the minute we sat down we were being reminded they need the table back by 8:45. When I tried to order a drink at 8:35 I was also reminded they need the table back and denied the drink ( I was going to take it upstairs). 2. The food - food was ok- good selection but it was just ok & I’d expect more than ok for a 600£ bill. 3. Ambiance- I’m in my 30s & most tables around us were girls in tiny dresses with old men- it screams influencer and other types of patrons 👀. 4. The cocktails - the ONLY saving grace - their drinks are amazing & I would absolutely recommend going to the upper floor bar just for drinks - great mixologists, really friendly service at the bar upstairs- the reason it went from 1 to 2 stars for me. Overall really disappointed & wouldn’t recommend unless you fall into the categories of point 3.

Very nice food, good service.. Only thing that I didn't like was the waiter said the wine we ordered was sweet we said we like dry the bottle he then gave was 50£ dearer then the one I picked think we should of been told the wine was more expensive,. So just be aware.

Pre-pandemic this was one of my favourite restaurants. Tonight we went back for the first time since the pandemic and it has really gone downhill. Food wasn’t great and the service was AWFUL. Plates were being cleared while food was still on them - I literally had one bite of my desert and the next thing I knew my plate was taken away without the waiter even asking if I was finished. We were continuously told we have to pay the bill as table was needed for other customers - considering we paid just short of £3K this was shocking! we were then told we could buy a bottle and take it downstairs to the club. As soon as we went down there we were told we have to pay bottle service too! The music and DJ on first floor was nothing like before - no atmosphere, no dancing. The waiters were very rude and dismissive. Pre-pandemic they would come to our table; dance and take shots with us. All in all it was awful and I will not be going back.

As per the majority of the reviews, the live music was too loud. Not the spot for a conversation.Much like the majority of the UK, staffing is challenged and the quality of service is affected but not to the point of needing to boycot this restaurant. Sure we were lacking on a pair of chopsticks - easily solved by grabbing from.an empty table - and the staff were hard to flag down when it came to getting the bill. Staff are not attentive when you are not their focus but when they are serving you they are good and will give you their complete attention. Not a spot to go on a date (unless you're looking to pick up a date whilst at your table) nor go with the in laws but a good spot for entertainment and people watching - about 80% female to male ratio, butbyou'd best bring your wallet, chaps. What brought this rating up from 3 stars was the fact that the food was excellent.TLDR: Too loud, great food.

It is a very ‘posey’ place but that being said, the food is above and beyond! We all had Italian starters and sushi for mains and it worked so well! The singers were also fab, it was a little too loud but you get used to it in the end. Perhaps a little short staffed but who isn’t these days. Honestly very good atmosphere and would recommend to friends.

London’s restaurants are one of the world’s most iconic ones, when it comes to fine dining, just like Sumosan Twiga. The restaurant serves the contemporary Japanese menu that the brand is known for but also includes an Italian menu as part of a collaboration with Flavio Briatore founder of Italian beach club, Twiga. We had such a fabulous evening with a live show. Food was super delicious with amazing flavours.Staff was very friendly and helpful.Sommelier was pairing our food with different wines which a was a cherry on the cake!Must try in London - one of the best restaurants in terms of food and vibes!!

Worst experience ever!!Food was gross and bland no exaggeration.Looked forward to going for ages, finally get there for a friends birthday to be met with the worst service and worst food. They music was overbearing and repetitive. All together a huge disappointment in the entire ordeal, literally got cat-fished by a restaurant I’m still sooo annoyed I even went to be honest.Save your money and more importantly your time!!!I’d recommend MNKY HOUSE if you want dinner that actually tastes good with a fun party atmosphere

Visited back in May. Staff were very attentive and vibe was great. Dj was playing music to get everybody going however due to the restrictions in place at the time we had to stay seated at all times. Which was fine.. still enjoyed. Food was very good.. drinks good also. This Restaurant is on the pricey side with one cocktail cost £20 however it is what you may expect from a fine dining establishment such as this one. Would defo be back will recommend.
