The Hill in Greenwich

Had a lovely lunch here today. It was early so it was fairly quiet - the staff were really friendly, letting us enjoy our food and drinks and didn't rush us to order or get the bill. Other restaurants can be a bit pushy so this really made a difference - it was a nice, chilled out meal. Food was sooo tasty - the croquetas de jamon, bruschetta, gambas con ajillo and patatas bravas were exceptionally tasty. Looking forward to our next visit.

My wife and I spent a lovely evening at The Hill on Saturday night enjoying great tapas, excellent service and great music from their live guitarist!When we arrived, we were welcomed and shown to our table, the service all through the night was very attentive and friendly. We bought a wide selection from the tapas menu and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, very well cooked and there was lots of it. We couldn't clear the table quick enough as the plates kept coming!What made the night perfect was the resident guitarist, Steve. He set just the right atmosphere and ambience and it was great to listen to some classic tunes from the likes of Pink Floyd, Dire Straights and other legends. It was great fun playing guess the tune with my wife! How nice it is to be somewhere listening to someone play live while we dine and relax.All in all, it was a great night and we'll be sure to be back another Saturday night soon.

Wonderful Ecuadorian food, plus pizzas and great cocktails. Really friendly owners /managers/staff too. We came for a family birthday and they put a sparkler in his dessert and sang happy birthday- it was really special. Would completely recommend.

I just booked a restaurant on google randomly. But it was a pretty good experience for my friend and me. Really enjoyed the wonderful dinner and the lovely atmosphere at The Hill last night!

Lovely lunch great menu and very attentive service.

We had Sunday lunch here. The food is delicious. Service is superb. A restaurant for neibourghood. They take care of their customers. Not like the ones in Greenwich town center, some come with very rude waiter/waitress as they are doing tourist/no return business. We liked The Hill very much.

We chose this place to have our lunch wedding reception and had the most amazing time with fantastic food, service, music and a very warm ambience! The varied menu catered to everyone's tastes and dietary requirements and everyone enjoyed themselves. Can't thank Alyvar and his team enough for being so helpful :) We will visit again soon!

Amazing service. Food is so delicious. Sangria a must!!! The restaurant is so homely. Garden at the back is so green and inviting. Just that the main course the seafood linguine was a bit small for a main course.

Well, well, well!What a night this was! We were welcomed warmly and given a choice of inside or outdoors. We chose the outdoors. It’s a beautiful garden which seats at least 20-25 people. Very snug and spacious at the same time. It succeeds in creating an authentic Mediterranean atmosphere. This is one of those spots that are hidden amongst the back streets of Greenwich and you feel honoured that you’ve discovered it. You also feel honoured that the service and food quality matches the mysticism of the place – in other words it is substance and style in one. Speaking of the service, we were waited upon by several members of staff and all are attentive and have that rare ability to be present when you need them and ‘aside’ when you are lost in the dazzling wonderment of present company. Emily in particular is cut from the classic Scholl of attentiveness: an excellent memory and ridiculously charming.Yes, this was a night to remember. T’was the 40th birthday for a friend of mine so the overall turnout was on me. I am a hero in their eyes.Do take the time to visit this place.

I had a great time there on Sunday evening. The food was delicious and the staff was very welcoming. Reasonable prices for the generous portions. I can highly recommend this restaurant and I’ll definitely come back to try more dishes from their Latin Menu.
