Melange in Haringey

Had a great evening with my wife. The food was really delicious. Staff was very polite, and they were careful to make sure we were happy with everything we ordered. We had quite a few things from the menu and they were all delicious. What can I say? Good food, good service, we'll be back.

Calamari was amazing. Me and my friend ordered a steak medium rare mine came medium well I was so hungry and I’m a rush I didn’t send it back was over cooked my friends came just about medium. Best part of whole meal was the calamari and the fries big disappointment. Last time I came the waitress molly made sure everything was good best waitress but unfortunately she wasn’t there this time around

The food was of a good quality however the waiting staff's communication skills, etiquette and politeness was unfortunately questionable.At the end of the meal, we were asked if we wanted dessert or the bill, with half a bottle of wine left. We decided not to have dessert, so the bill was left on the table for us, whilst we finished our wine. However another member of waiting staff then approached us, whilst we were drinking wine and talking, and asked if we were just loitering with the bill. We found this extremely rude. It was clear the two members of staff had not communicated with one another or picked up on normal customer social cues.Furthermore at the start of the meal, there seemed to be difficulty with the same member of waiting staff who decided to suggest to my partner that they should put the olives in the middle to share. Despite ordering them as personal starter and a different starter sitting in front of me. It was a strange request and their apology for the miscommunication almost was blamed at us rather than their lack of understanding.Overall we felt uncomfortable, however this was down to one member of staff in particular, and the food was lovely and the price reasonable.We don't feel the behaviour was intentional, however some staff training may be needed to avoid these misunderstandings going forward.Unfortunately we wouldn't visit again based off this experience.

What a fabulous experience! The delicious food, and the great wine selection were amazing, but the real cherry on top was the sheer brilliance of the front of house team - the sommelier gave us good wine recommendations, our waitress was attentive even though it was her first night! Any of the other staff that came to the table brought a wonderful vibe of relaxed fun whilst being totally professional.A huge thank you to Carolina and her team for a fantastic evening out on one of the busiest days of the year - we shall be back for sure!

They were very welcoming, fitting us in without a booking on Valetine's day 2022 as walk ins. We had a delicious meal, lovely staff and couldn't recommend enough. The staff were very commendable, we had a rather disruptive neighbour on the adjourning table and they dealt with him very gracefully. Best caramelised onions we've had, not covered in BBQ sauce and delicious doughnuts. Another faultless visit

Fantastic. Food was on point. Very tasteful. The waitress such a beautiful soul was helpful and always checking to see if we were ok.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Definitely one of my favourites at the moment. Good food, great customer service and generally a nice place to eat and have a drink. Will definitely recommend.

One of my favourite places in London, been going there for years. I would highly recommend it especially if you're a bit of a picky vegetarian. I hate when I see that my only option on the menu is tomato & mozzarella salad or halloumi fries. Definitely not the case in melange. I have enough interesting options on the menu whether I chose small bites / starters or big salads / main. Plus, they wine and cocktails always hit the spot.

Ordered a steak via Deliveroo. Risky getting take away steak, I know, but it was amazing! The meat was cooked exactly how I like it, and there was the option of garlic butter which is exactly what I wanted (on top of all the usual sauces).Very impressed with a steak delivery - and I'm picky when I have steak on the rare occasion (rare – pun intended).Removed 1 star just before the fries were quite stuck together and not the best – but this could very well be because it was delivery.So I'd still recommend, and maybe next time I'll go in person.

Just wow. It took me a while to visit this Crouch End restaurant. It's amazing. Wild mushroom Arancini was top notch. My chargrilled chicken and dauphinoise pataats hit the sweet spot. My partner thoroughly enjoyed her scollops and fish stew. Just banging.It was a busy night and we were a lil worried the food would be delayed. Not the case. Decent service, good staff.
