Sublime. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had. I'm not even mad about French food but we stumbled upon this absolute gem by accident. I went full French and had snails for starter then rabbit and crepe suzette to finish and each one was incredible.Plus laid back but attentive service. An absolute treat.

Quirky layout is really nice - feels kinda Parisian. Great, simple, classic french food. Very decent service. Couldn't do crepe Suzette, but otherwise fully french experience.

Best place to get authentic, quality, classic French food in Islington. All reasonably priced and available as a part of a 2-course or 3-course menu, or à la carte. Love the chicken liver, cooked just right, with generous portions of lardon, served over fresh lettuce and garnished with thinly sliced onions.

Really good quality and tasty food. Great atmosphere with French music that will remind you of home if you're from a French speaking country.

Such a great independent restaurant. Not only the food is delicious and affordable, but staff wear face covering and they made us feel safe. Thank you so much for protecting your customers and serving great food 👌

We have been going there for few years. The quality of food is consistent and reasonably priced. However, their customer service has noticeably reduced. Last night we asked 3 different stuff for a basket of bread to have with our starter and every time we were ignored! By the time they brought us bread we finished our starter! Also, despite the fact we booked the restaurant way in advance, they offered us the worst uncomfortable table !

Love this place, will never get tired of the cosy atmosphere and great food, love the frog legs, escargots and the brie, amd great selection of pancakes too 😋

·

My favorite French restaurant in London! The food was delicious as always. I noticed they changed their fries to a slightly thicker cut from the skinny ones before but they are still good! The waiters were friendly as always

Had a lovely meal here. It was bustling but not too rowdy. The food was simple and homely, with a touch of flair which I appreciated. The Brie starter, duck confit and coq au vin were tasty. The wine was pretty excellent as well. The staff were warm, even though it was pretty crowded. All in all it’s not the most outstanding place if you intend to impress, but I truly enjoy having a simple meal here with good company. I will definitely return.

We had: escargot and goat cheese salad for entrees, lamb shank and duck confit for mains, apple crepe and profiteroles for dessert. Having seen the majority of positive reviews, and seeing the dinner course menu for a mere 25.5 GBP (it's only for parties of greater than 12 people), I had high expectations from the start. Food was reasonable and portions were plentiful. Wine was fine also. I felt the service was somewhat disorganized. I'd made the reservation days in advance and we made sure we were on time, but there was a slight delay in getting us situated. There were stretches of time when we were waiting between courses, where waiter was no where to be seen, and we had to help ourselves to the dessert menu. We spent 80 GBP on a dinner for two. Overall, not spectacular, not terrible, but somewhere in the middle.
