Olivelli - Waterloo in Lambeth

A nice Italian restaurant in The Cut, conveniently located near to both the Old & Young Vic theatres, and Waterloo Station.The menu is extensive offering pasta, pizza, meat, fish and more, and the food comes very quickly.We spent a happy two hours eating, drinking and chatting; we'll be back

Quite shocked just how poor their service is. Booked a table for 1pm today and when we arrived we discovered the confirmation we received was only to say they'd received our request - they hadn't actually confirmed they could accommodate (neither had they confirmed they couldn't however). So they suggested we sit outside while we wait. We did but 40 mins later we had to ask if we could order drinks. After 1hour 45 mins we were eventually seated indoors. And then we were totally ignored for another 30 mins. It took 2 hours and 15 mins to get water, and this was only offered when we asked. To top it all off they added £40 mandatory service charge to our bill which we obviously refused to pay and they got stroppy. Avoid them at all costs

We had dinner here after a trip to the IWM nearby by pure chance and couldn’t have been more pleased. Friendly, welcoming, charming and beautiful food. Really very good indeed.

Went for dinner after Christmas weekend, so several dishes were unavailable (which at least indicates they don't use frozen items). Good substitutions were offered and service was friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and have booked restaurant for a family party, so can recommend.

Visited at 8pm on a Saturday night without any reservations. Staff were super friendly and happy to accommodate us. The food and service were excellent. Would happily visit again and recommend to others.

Quickly becoming a favourite. Food and service are absolutely faultless; the restaurant straddles the line between 'fine dining' and 'family-run' very nicely. We are always made to feel welcome and appreciated. The house wine is strongly recommended, as is the tiramisu - which might be the best I've ever tasted. Full marks!

Absolutely spectacular!No booking, seated 7 of us and served us with a smile and such lovely authentic Italian food. Even the children loved their food. We all know how hard it is to please young children. Nothing was to much for the servers. Reasonably priced for London as well.Made up for a woeful day in the capital 🤦🏽‍♂️😎

I really enjoyed this place! I had a pasta dish and my friends had pizza. Lovely and very tasty. We spied other tables having the sharing platters and they looked incredible. Definitely getting one of those on the next visit. The mains were good but the desserts were AMAZING we had the tiramisu and a chocolate brownie and a cakey tart. The brownie was the best I've ever eaten- swimming in chocolate sauce. Very attentive staff. Highly recommend.

Had a family meal booked here. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing and really tasty and fresh. The restaurant is very intimate and was a relaxed atmosphere. Reasonably priced especially with it being in London. Would definitely recommend to others to go.

Great service and the food was really good. The staffs are wearing mask. We were planning to go to other Italian nearby where is double price of here, we were glad that we change our mind to dine here. Love every dishes we ordered, will go back again.
