Having used the Brockley Rock since they opened and have always found their fish n chips top notch. Had the cod and chips tonight and the quality was amazing….probably the best I have EVER had. I can’t show a pic of my meal because it has gone yum!!

[Delivery] Really great place, high quality ingredients and you can tell they know how to cook different types of fish well. The salmon and sweet potato fish cake was amazing, sad to see it's not a permanent item, would have given 5 stars if it was.

Love this place, get their fish and chips quite regularly from here. They have gluten free and vegan options too, as well as homemade tartare sauce. Such delicious crunchy batter...

Well, we really enjoyed this. Vegan saveloy got a thumbs up, teriyaki salmon was great - slightly overdone but absolutely delicious and came with really generous tasty salad. We ordered delivery and I thought the chips wouldn't travel well but they were incredibly addictive and I ate way more than advisable.

Best tofish/vegan options I've found. Such a great book shop next door to look in while your less booky friend waits for the food.

·

Experienced their fish and chips, scampi, battered sausage and mushy peas. I will never go anywhere else. Absolutely delicious!!!

·

This must be one of the best looking fish n chip shops in the country. Ordered a fried cod and it was freshly fried after receipt of the order. It was well worth the wait of 10 minutes.

·

Really happy with our vegan 'fish' and chips, vegan battered sausage and regular sausage. The chips were excellent. Maybe the 'fish' had the right texture but missed a tiny but more flavour, all in all would order again! (Boxes are compostable)

·

Good taste but very less quantity of chips even though I paid for two regular packet of chips with two cods. The cods had not been fully cooked. My son did not take a bite. Village fish and chips at shortlands is so much better

Heard a lot about that place. How many fish’n chips shops claim to be the best in UK or London ? Either from owner or customers, but the question might be as important that “be or not to be ?”Well I can’t tell if it’s actually the best but it’s definitely one of them !Received warm welcome from the person behind the counter. It was efficientWait for few minutes and grab my order as I was called by the window.Found large portion of both fish and chips. With crispy batter not too oily and very moist fish. Tartare sauce is homemade and highly recommended to add !The whitebait were also perfectly made and good size to share as starter. To conclude, really enjoyed the fish’n chips ! Well done !Wouldn’t recommend enough and if the weather is good why not enjoy it in the park next to the shop ?
