Spice Station in Waltham Forest

My family's favourite local restaurant in North Chingford. Tasty, fresh food. Friendly staff. Prompt service. Complimentary drink after your meal is a welcome touch. Recommend.

Although the food is lovely and portion size good service was neither. Waited over half an hour for one course for two people they then left out two items one side dish and one complete curry.

Absolutely wonderful food and atmosphere and friendly staff definitely a place to visit if your a curry buff try the chicken tikka the best.

Terrible food worst experience I have had in a restaurant. The food was bland & tasteless and the meat was chewy and over cooked and did not look fresh at all.The place has horrible brown carpet on the first floor and for a place that is called the Spice Station nothing could have been further from the truth. Will definitely never visit again.

Papa dams were not flavoury and felt quite tasteless. The rest of the food was good but, be prepared for a hard sell from starters to mains coming from the waiter, he was not very smiley either but, I think it was also because we were not locals. Overall, it is ok and affordable but not the best Indian out there in London.

Decided to try this restaurant out on a date night with the wife. She's very particular about Indian Food, it's a favourite of hers, so her enjoyment of the offering of any given establishment is a good indicator of the quality of the dishes served.We were both impressed.The portion sizes are generous without being over-the-top, some places will portion out way more than one person can reasonably eat, and the dishes nicely spiced and with good flavour. It was also nice to see large drinks that were ACTUALLY large; neither of us drink alcohol, so we ordered a juice to go with our meal, and they arrived in pint sized glasses. The staff were welcoming from the moment we stepped in and during service while taking our orders and serving our food.I think price wise they are very reasonable as well. We both ordered a starter, meat dish and rice, my wife additionally ordered a vegetable side, and, of course, we'd both ordered large juices. Total bill was just under £50, which I was perfectly happy with. We will definitely be back at some point!Oh, and the only reason there are no pictures is that, being a date night, the wife insisted on phones being put away!

Best curry in London, everytime we visit we are always impressed. The staff are very friendly and the food never disappoints. 10/10

Sat in recently with friends - Top quality beautifully spiced dishes as always and great service from Shah and his team. We are lucky to have this Indian Restaurant in our locality!!

Good food at decent prices. I've tried a few dishes and they were all tasty and full of flavour. The portions are quite big and the service is fast and polite. Good location by the main road, and there is plenty of parking nearby. It's also good for larger parties, birthdays, etc.
