The Indian Dining Club in Waltham Forest

I had one of the worst customer service experiences in a very long time. The server yesterday really couldn’t be bothered to be there, he was rude in his delivery, he delivered a dish I didn’t ask for and then argued that it was me that got it wrong, I’m allergic to nuts I wouldn’t order a dish with nuts in. When I called him out on his rudeness, he didn’t care and I think would rather we weren't there. The sad thing is, the food is always excellent and every other time we have eaten there there service was good, shame We won’t be going back.

Just ordered waited 1 hour, completely delivered wrong order not edible for usWhen called & explained received wrong food was told sort you out next time too busy to be bothered to listen ..Seriously just had rice & poppadoms for £30…… not even remotely acceptable, dining club . been a customer of yours for many years …

Spent £85 for a takeaway and they didn't even throw in some poppadoms. Mediocre food, different dishes taste the same, won't be ordering from here again

This place hardly ever seems to have anybody inside but the way the phone other tech was going they have lots of take away business. The place is clean warm goid decor and the food was very good

Delicious every time, We just love the Indian Dining Club; the food is always perfectly cooked and delicious and the staff are so friendly. So many friends we have recommended it to, have made it their go to too. We look forward to every meal in the restaurant or take away.

My favourite indian, staff try to short change often and hope you dont realise but the food is bang on. Just count your change and check the bill for extra items being added. If it was not for that it woukd have been 5 star because the food it amazing.

You don't even deserve one star. This was the first and last time ordering from this place. The order never arrived even after nearly two hours. After calling the restaurant several times to an extremely rude man, I was told the driver waited half an hour and they tried to call. So the driver tried calling but you told me you didn't have my number. How does that make sense? I had to get my money back from uber after refusing to cancel my order and hanging up on me. Never again!

Ordered a dish from the House Specialities. The Lamb Xacuti - which they advertised as "A very popular goan dish cooked with roasted spice tamarind, garlic and ginger". What was delivered was a lamb tikka skewered kebab thrown into a bhuna sauce. Called them and they said that this is what the Lamb Xacuti is. Well it is not, I am from GOA and it is a totally different dish both in looks, ingredients and taste.First 2 photos of what was delivered. Last 3 photos of a real Xacuti. Coconut is an ingredient in Xacuti it is not made using tikka kebab and a bhuna sauce. Was really dissatisfied and disappointed with both the dish and their response.The delivery time was good. The vegetable dishes were fine.

Absolutely delicious! Fresh, tasty and delivered with haste, safe and sound. Generous portions, exquisite seasoning jam-packed full of flavour. Best bhajis I've had since I was a kid. Beautiful, rich and sweet makhani. Punchy, deep KING prawn dansak with a delicate and fragrant pilau rice. New regular right here.

Had our first takeaway from here last night, and it was absolutely delicious. The only reason I couldn't rate a 5* is because we ordered 2 poppadoms and only recorded one and a broken half (in photo) that we just couldn't work out. Honestly, most Indians give you way more poppadoms than you order, but getting half of one you've ordered? However, it was just one slip up in an otherwise scrummy meal!
