The food was good but the manager was a bit rude. One of us asked him about food that wasn't on the menu and he was like " can u see it on the menu??" She said "no I don't" then he responded "then why ur asking about it?" That was rude ngl he could've just said "no" :(

I had a horrible experience in this restaurant.I‘ll never repeat my visit. The food was below the average standard.If you are staying in Newcastle, I would suggest Red Mezze a good choice for Turkish food loversPlease, guys, when you read my review, check the restaurant reply !😂

It was our first time trying out Ottoman Turkish Restaurant. Definitely a hidden gem in Newcastle! We had a fantastic experience overall. Great ambience and excellent service. The staff were pleasant and very friendly. Food and drinks came in good time. The food was delicious! I had the chicken Ali nasik with Turkish bread. I would suggest a salad on the side but the bread combo was good too!I would definitely recommend this place and I look forward to visiting again.

We reserved a table as read the good reviews from here.A really good independent Turkish restaurant, very chilled and had some nice decorations around the restaurant.The staff were very friendly, chatty and attentive. Some wore fez hats and you could, if asked nicely, got given one to wear and pose with. It was great to be able to take our time and not feel rushed to get rid of us.The food was great, nicely cooked and generous portions.Starters: Hummus and KalamarMains: Mixed GrillDesserts: Ice Cream

If you enjoy Turkish food you must get this place it's a very good quality food, so many amazing flavours and genuinely good. A added bonus is its also amazing value for money 💰 especially if you go in before 4pm like we did. Even the "basic" stuff is very good. Love it.
