First time in Carlisle and me and my partner were not expecting much food wise after spending the afternoon in the disappointing shanghai shanghai buffet(properly terrible) ... But I can honestly say this is one of the best meals I've had, I had a lamb bhuna my partner a sizzler mixed kebab and it was absolutely banging, to the point I would go back to Carlisle just for another curry here, though Carlisle was great, friendly staff too, a great experience

Really good food, not your average curry house, authentic and varied menu. Attentive service, and reasonably priced

The food was fantastic. So much choice and dishes I had never seen before. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would certainly recommend it and will be going back.

Great environment but food is just ok. Bit pricey especially gin & T lol. Great service though especially Jennifer. She’s a v hard worker manager.

Clean, airy, brightly decorated, attentive service, very good food and very good value too, one of our guests had a small problem which they put right immediately and without any fuss, will definitely be returning again next time in town, 5🌟

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food. The only Indian restaurant I know of that's better than this has a Michelin star. This restaurant is not far behind them.

Service 1 star - we were asked to sit on a table of 4 even though we were five, inspite of many empty tables as and I quote "more people can come laterand we need tables for them". When we insisted to get a proper table the waiter got grumpy and then obliged, muttering frustrations under his breath.Food- paneer makhani had barely any paneer because(and I quote) "we have run out of paneer". We ordered another plate and they happily charged for both.Tandoori roti 'will take atleast twenty minutes' as we are "preparing the dough from scratch"When we tried to order chapati"are you sure you want chapati as it is not prepared in our kitchen?"Inspite of many staff, no one person was taking charge of our orders and service. That made us feel uneasy throughout as the food was taking long and each time we had to ask a different person. To top it all, food was overpriced. Will not be coming back.
