Red Chilli Chinese Restaurant in Manchester

Second time visiting this restaurant and on both occasions the food has been amazing. Great service and even though it was busy, the food arrived 15 minutes after ordering. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I felt the toilets could do with a deeper clean.

Lots of dishes marked as unavailable. Quality of what we ordered wasn't what it used to be. Still a nice dining experience but to be honest I was quite disappointed overall.

Great chinese restaurant both for dining in and ordering. Food is always delicious and each visit I find more dishes to fall in love with. Staff are friendly and there is plenty of room in the restaurant and space for larger groups. Range of both classic Chinese dishes as well as western favourites. Highly recommend their crispy seaweed as a side.

A funny evening, a large group of friends and I were celebrating our colleagues last day.I fear we were talking at logger heads from minute one with the staff. Who, though they were amicable, confused us as much as we confused them.At one point an aggressive amount of sweet and sour graced our table. Seemingly out of nowhere. Charming, but unfortunately useless.Assorted items arrived, cold, quickly, slowly, warm. What a tornado of a meal. 5 stars for the surreal experience, 2 stars for an authentic Chinese culinary experience.

I don’t often go to Chinese restaurants as the last 5 or so I’ve been to in the UK haven’t been very good, came here before going to Contact theatre for a show on Thursday night and was blown away. We had the beef in chilli oil, fried chicken with chilli, and lemon chicken with a couple of rice and pak Choi with ginger. All the main dishes were amazing, especially the beef in chilli oil and chicken with chilli. They add peppercorns which give a complete different taste to just chilli and a different feel of spice, will definitely be back and order these dishes again brining some more friends.Service was great, everyone really nice and happy to help, fast to come out, we can’t wait to come back.Cost about £70 for all that food with 3 beers and a coke so we thought it was great value for money.Thank you 🌶

Good food but need more good selection. The majority of dishes on the menu were crossed off. The menu definitely needs updating. So disappointing to see things on the menu you can't have. Otherwise, the food was good.

Friendly staff. We turned up 10 minutes before the kitchen was to close, yet they still welcomed us in.Big portions of food, normally get half that amount in other restaurants. Food was good, just missing that little bit of extra oomph to really hit the spot.

Great food in our own private room for 20 people with an enormous circular table. the service was excellent, attentive, and polite.

Fantastic place! We went for my friends birthday. And dispite there was 13 of us the staff accommodated extremely well. It's a well decorated place and the food was beyond ratings! Will definitely go again. It was our first time trying this place and definitely will not be our last.. A few of us said we will definitely go back again some day soon even if its not a birthday and just a couple friends having a meal out.
