Kutis Express in Southampton

We’ve ordered 3 times from this place as the food is so so good and such generous portions. I didn’t give 5 stars though because you need to put your order in so so early because they take so long to deliver. We ordered last night for 6 of us and their website said a 75 minute wait but I had to call to chase the order when we hit almost 2 hours. They really need to tweak their website to update delivery time lengths because when you order food and it tells you how long it will be you kind of focus on that and believe it will be delivered by then.It arrived 2 hours after placing the order which is crazy really so it arrived pretty late and to make things worse they forgot my husbands peshwari naan. When we called them to complain they just said it was a “one off” and “one of those nights” which isn’t a good enough reason really but the food was still amazing so we still enjoyed it and they said they would refund the missing naan.We will order from them again as this has been the only problem we’ve had and will order around 5:30pm to get for around 7/7:30 coz otherwise you risk going passed hungry when waiting too long.

Ordered 6 curries and took 2 hours 40 mins to arrive. Chicken takeaway massala tasted bland... pretty much chicken in coloured water... such a disappointing meal

One of Southampton's best kept secrets. The food is superb and the portions are large. Tip: collect your curry in person and enjoy the show watching them cook, so professional and smells wonderful 👍

Really disappointed, we've been waiting for 2 hours for our food to turn up, we have just got through on the phone and received a very blunt response of "it's not done yet, it'll probably be done in another half hour" so we ended up going down to collect it ourselves to hurry things alongWhilst I appreciate that they are busy, 2 1/2 hours is far to long to wait, if you can't handle the amount of orders , suspend them so that you can fill the ones that you have rather that let people down.

Super quality and generous helpings. They said 30 mins and it was ready in 35 so no problem there. Would very happily return but we live 200 miles away and we were on holiday in Southampton. Rich flavours and good variety. Website very easy to use and order from. Well done Kuti!

Definately the best curry from a takeaway I've ever had! Truely delicious! The prawns are fresh, huge and really meaty and the chicken is pure white breast! The staff are really friendly and chatty and honestly i wouldn't go anywhere else for my curry fix than here! Money well spent! 10 out of 10! Thank you kutis, i love my curry nights!

Ordered a large group size and variety of food (as well as a side of chips!) that was ready in a short time of 30mins! Enjoyed the vegetarian food but it wasn't the best take away food you can get (locally).

We always have our occasional take away from Kuti's. We like to order random things from the menu and see what it's like! The poppadoms are lovely and their sauces are delicious. They always deliver to us quickly and are friendly. 100% our favourite Indian take away. Always full bellies after!

I'm finally finished with this takeaway since its under new management.Everytime I order now, they say give me half hour. so I arrive 45 minutes later and then they just start to cook our order.and sadly as they are busy our order becomes rushed.Ie, its so rushed its totally different in taste.Such a shame as the previous owner had so much passion to cook good food.just bear in mind .sometimes you'll get a decent meal.other times you won't.Unfortunately I cant afford to gamble £50 on a whim of a good meal.Be aware

After having the most delicious tandoori from another takeaway, I ordered tandoori again from Kuti's Express because they are local to me.What a disappointment! The lamb was as tough as shoe leather, I don't believe it had been marinated and it was coated in thick dry and slightly bitter spice. The raita was peculiar, yellow in in colour with no mint flavour. £18 for an inedible meal ☹️☹️ I won't be ordering from them again. Staff were nice though.
