Nice food, good service but the place needs a lick of paint. Overall I would go back service and taste rules

Shocking service. From almost the moment the eight of us arrived, we felt unwanted. We experienced differing standards of food once we finally got served, but the consistent and concerning thing was how poor the service was.A hair in one of the main meals and two very poor nann breads was met with no apology and an attitude of not being bothered. We most certainly will never eat there again.

Worst restaurant experience. Staff are old age and they take lot of time in servings. Just to server Set menu they took almost close to 90min and i had to leave the deserts i didnot had the patience to continue .And even food is not good . Not an ideal Indian restaurant. Either the food is sweet or sour . It is anything but not indian for sure .Indian food is about spices.I would not recommend if you really want to try good Indian restaurant. Also, since all the staff are old ,they work very slow .Ambience is also dull .Hygienic is okay . Not upto the expectationsConsidering all the about things I will not recommend anyone to go specially in group.

We were hungry after a great concert and came across this place, walked up some steps and it turned out amazing. Food was delicious and customer service was exceptional the staff were wonderful, even though it was late they didnt rush us and explained the food etc. Lovely place.

We have been coming to Birmingham for Xmas markets for years and have eaten here every time, Indian Food this evening was simply best I have eaten for years, place is spotless, staff very attentive just brilliant

Terrible. Staff rude and unhelpful and food mediocre. A large table even left due to lack of service. Our drinks were completely forgotten and no apology received. Coffee should come with our set meal, but we were told we couldn’t have them as they were due to close. Thankfully after speaking to another member of staff l we did eventually get the coffee, albeit nearly cold. Staff seemed very grumpy and like they all wanted to go home! AVOID!

I wouldn't even give this place one star, we visited on Thursday evening after a show.4 ladies on our own we ordered 4 drinks and then went on to try and order a selection of poppadoms, starters and chips each, the rude waiter told us we could not just have these ...... his attitude was rude to say the least ... he said we had to spend a minimum of £10 each which we were. He went on to say we had to order main meals each ....why? It was quiet in there at least 10 tables free.No reason not to take our money .After covid and closure of many businesses you would imagine he would be happy to serve us we ask for our bill for the drinks and he threw it on the table £20for 4 drinks !!! Needless to say we will not return here

Food was good but service was rude to the point of being actually funny. Post concert meal, and having placed order, it was taking so long, we decided to ask if we could order some popadoms and chutnies to keep us going. Every waiter we asked just said "no, you've already ordered, it's too late" ... it was like something out of Fawlty Towers. Food, however, very tasty, just make sure your order is your 'final answer'. As Eminem said "you only get one shot ..."

We visited on a Saturday evening and after a short wait we got the table (we hadn't booked)The staff were friendly and helpful and food was ordered. There was a long wait though which wasn't ideal as we had a concert to attend and had to eat rather quickly although the food tasted lovely.Would visit again but only if we have nothing planned!

Excellent food. Been a long wait to come back here. Well worth it, really enjoyed our meals. Well worth a visit if you are around Broad St, you wont be disappointed.
