Sabai Sabai Harborne in Birmingham

Spacious, well decorated and staff were friendly. However no ramp access at entrance, meant we had to lift our pushchair up a few steps. Not an issue but worth knowing in case.

Wonderful restaurant. Lovely food. One small complaint.....waitresses seem to want you out as quick as possible when we wanted to chill with our wine etc. Other than that.....we shall be back !!

Went with my friend just before christmas after he raved about the place. I wasn't disappointed. Starters and Mains were really nice and full of authentic flavours that reminded me of food I had in Thailand.The BBQ chicken from the main course was a little dry but everything else was great. Beware of the Seabass main dish, it has a very strong smell!Our host Mutwara was very welcoming, pleasant and very happy to help. 5/5 for your service 😉, apologies if I got your name wrong!Only downside was the time it took for our starters to arrive but it was through no fault of Mutwara.Will definitely be coming back to try all the other food I couldn't!

Great food at Sabai Sabai and excellent service from the overstretched team. We booked as a group of 3 on a Friday evening. There were a number of larger groups in and our waiting staff suggested we order quick to avoid having to wait for the bigger orders. Starters came out quick, drinks took a little longer. We were left to enjoy our food and mains arrived in good time. Food was spot on and we all enjoyed every last bit. Staff were run off their feet with the larger groups and the restaurant got very noisy. It meant we had to ask for extra drinks and again to get the bill. No big issue, but time for staff to do their job is what makes a night out extra special. It was too loud to hear conversation on our table. The owners need some soft furnishings to help with sound level and maybe a couple of extra staff on busy nights for 5 stars.

My wife and I went to Sabai Sabai Harborne last night and honestly speaking I feel ripped off. I ordered lamb chops which cost over £9. I received two small lamb chops in a bog bowl with lettuce and a few other garnishes. Not worth it. The lamb chops should have been much bigger.They don’t have coke in glass bottles. For a restaurant that is charging premium prices, this is unacceptable. They had lemonade, Pepsi and Diet Pepsi on draught… seriously?!The vegetarian menu is very limited. The markup on some of their dishes is around a 1000% and this leaves diners feeling conned. The menu needs a review otherwise this restaurant is going downhill.The ambience is nice. Our waitress was lovely but seriously guys… £9 for two tiny lamb chops with a bit of lettuce. We won’t be going back. What a rip off!

Hair was in all of our rices from the restaurant. When delivered. When we rang to complain the manger Krit told me it is not a big deal and he will deliver me a new rice so I can enjoy my hair infested meal. Thanks Krit but no thanks. Disgusting customer service!!!

Really nice thai. Lovely looking place from the outside, excellent atmosphere inside. Topped with outstanding food.

Loved the food, the service, atmosphere.. amazing and will absolutely recommend. Our waitress was Lauren and she was Amazing and knew all the dishes very well.

Great meal here, lovely restaurant itself, fabulous staff and delicious food. We (4 of us) went for the Set Menu B, all of which was delicious and plenty for 4, we ended up taking lots home with us too - starters were a particular favourite and the duck and sea bass for mains. Great cocktails too, we tried 8 of them, the best were the sabai sabai swizzle and eastern promise.
