Meal out for 10 of us, the food and the service was amazing! Thank you!

The best curry in town! Friendly staff and a nice environment to eat in. Nice to have cobra beer on tap! And reasonably priced for the quality you get. The menu is extensive and the chef will hot things up or down to taste. If you want good curry, go here!

Ordered a curry very nice first time I'd used this indian the curry was great from here would highly recommend

A very nice curry but the starters were inconsistent. The atmosphere was new and a general modern Indian vibe. I would recommend the Welsh Lamb but not the monkfish. Two of us had it and it smelt like it was off.PS. They should probably stock more sauce

Having recently visited The Curry House and Avatar we had high hopes for Third Place, especially considering we saw in the newspaper that they were going for some sort of award. On arrival we weren't asked for the time of our booking or our names, which considering they were almost completely full seemed an odd start. Fortunately we sat upstairs which was a lot less crowdedThe food was overall very disappointing, a platter for 4 contained only two of almost everything. Two small pieces of lamb, two small samosas etc if it hadn't been for the four onion bhajis I'd have thought it was actually a platter for two. I imagine a platter for two would be like sharing a small starter! Bizarrely it all sat an an oily plate, like nothing had been drained and the cooking oils dripped to create a puddle for it all to sit inWe opted for two of the signature dishes and a pathia, they were all just about 'ok', the Bahar was literally sat on a puddle of oil just like the starter. The breads were a real mixed bag. The plain one was ok, the keema naan undercooked and the peshwari burntFor three people with a few drinks each it broke the £100 mark, not outrageous, but definitely not worth it.Given that within a couple of hundred yards there is four other places that are all better I'm not sure why I would ever return hereI can only imagine that their award winning chef was out at a competition or something and we encountered the B Team. Or perhaps even the C Team....

Had a takeaway meal for 2. Very disappointed possibly the worst curry I've had. Tasteless and cold. This curry house is alot more pricey than the others. But will be avoiding in the future. £35 down the drain in my eyes.

Absolutely beautiful food whether you have take out or eat in. Spot on 100% everytime. The experience of eating in is unreal, the gentleman are so caring and polite. Love love love

This is about dining in. Never had a problem with the Third Place. Look past the bad reviews, of which most appear to be about delivery (we tried once and it was a lengthy wait.) Good menu at reasonable price, staff very friendly and efficient and, most importantly, delicious food. If you go before a theatre show, allow good time and let them know. I've seen them politely advise customers that they know they won't finish on time.

I'm really disappointed, this is my first time ordering from them, I ordered the chicken tikka (not the starter) which I was expecting like a curry but it was just some lumps of chicken, there was no sauce so my portion of rice was pointless and I ordered a keema nan which had hardly anything inside it. The only part I wasn't unhappy with was the poppadoms, but for a meal that cost me £16, I am very unhappy and I don't think I will be ordering again.

The Third place is situated right opposite the local theatre, perfect location. The restaurant sits above the main street so there are a few steps to overcome and u You may need to book a table as its very popular. We've been several times and the food and service is always excellent. Just minutes away from the town and river veiws. Very good.
