Aagrah - Shipley in Bradford

We went for the buffet which I must admit I was dubious about. So happy to admit I was wrong. The choices and food quality were exceptional and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Food was ok I guess we went for the buffet, everything from the starters to the main were limited in variety. I liked the roast beef but i found it to be random for an Indian restaurant - it's something you'd associate with Sunday dinners. Also there were like 4 curries for the main and some barely edible desserts but the service we found was good though which doesn't matter as the food wasn't up to par.

Really good food, a varied menu with good range of choice & generous portions. Nicely decorated, efficient & friendly staff. Recommended

I'm being slightly generous with 3 stars tbh. I thought I'd play it safe & order Chicken Tikka Massla with rice / naan / couple of sides. Now I'm all for a CTM being made in a less generic way (rly creamy / buttery etc), but the CTM I got didn't rly resemble a CTM at all, the main ingredient I cld taste was salt. So whereas I think they've got the right idea not doing CTM the way 95% of other curry houses do, I think they've gone a bit too far the other way & made it unrecognisable as a CTM. Delivery driver was safe though, & good prompt service, I probably shld have just ordered something different.

Great choice on buffet. Not too busy, attentive waiters and lovely fresh food. Decent price for the choice, drinks are reasonably priced too. I would definitely recommend

Reading the reviews of being good I found my visit quite disappointing .chicken undercooked and pink. Food not hot enough. Got home and stomach ache. Wont go again. Popadoms like rubber. Starter was good an desert. But expensive to pay for starter and desert.wont recommend sorry Aagra. Let down

İt was delicious. I enjoyed starters and the main dish. Also best peshawar naan as well

Lunch buffet, great choice of dishes for first and main courses, and all delicious. Nice deserts which aren't too heavy, good after your plate full of curry.

Very pleasant waiting staff.We were a party of four and felt the table could’ve been larger to accommodate the amount of food. Although, it was intimate.The juice glasses I found too heavy.I had a king prawn curry 🍤 it was delicious. The chapattis and rice were hot and fluffy and the waiter service excellent.The cheesecake didn’t taste fresh, it was claggy but the coconut 🥥 ice cream was delicious.Would go back again.

Highly recommended, constantly fresh food on the buffet, even with the table service and the new restrictions! It didn't disappoint was still good. Still full 3 hours later 😴
