This was a lovely restaurant with lots of options on the menu .. very friendly polite well mannered staff and a great evening all round

Had booked a two weeks agoArrived 10 minutes earlier to be told go away and come back as no table ready (not even have a drink at the bar offer )We came back at 1 minute tooTo be then told to stand at the bar where we saw a table being prepped next a couple at the bar was shown to this table I asked the manager he said I’ve given it to a walk in customer just nowStill no table for us I asked why he said they had forgotNo apology or anything!So spoke to the manager he said what do you want me to do !Staff are rude and don’t have a clue what’s going off

I have chicken tikka, peshwari naan and extra mint sauce when I get a takeaway from here and it's delicious every time, the mint sauce is spot on, not like all the other places that do very milky weak sauce, this is still the proper stuff, the peshwari naan has been spot on too with enough sweet coconuty squidgy stuff inside and as a takeaway it's a bargain price.Very friendly people that work in there too.

Popped in on the off chance during our 2 day break in York. I can honestly say it's the best Indian meal I've ever had, tender meat and creamy masala sauce. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended 👍

Managed to get two seats last night. Cant fault it. Great food. Very attentive staff. All in all exactly what it says on the tin.. Will be back.

Busy place so you might need to book. Staff were friendly and polite, the restaurant area was nice. Food wasn't great, just average. They also add a 10% service charge onto the bill automatically,

We were on an overnight visit uo York and chose yo eat here after reading several reviews. Prompt service, lovely food and very attentive staff. After some good poppadoms and dips we shared an onion bhaji and a potato and lentil 'cake' which were lovely. My wife had the paneer curty and I had a lamb special. Both were excellent. Worth visiting if you are in York. A nice touch was the free Baileys after the meal.

Nice, pleasant and helpful staff. A range of dishes we haven't seen before. The quality and taste was really good, really nice.

Lovely restaurant and superb food. The service was excellent and the waiter's recommendations were spot on. Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone wanting a decent curry whilst visiting the area. I had the Naga and it isn't for the faint hearted 🔥🔥🔥
