Shalimar in Harrogate

Just had an amazing anniversary meal. Service fantastic. Lovely lads. Best pakoras we've ever had. Lamb Rogan josh was beautiful and husbands chicken murgh was demolished in seconds. Food out in a timely manner and cleared away quickly after finishing. Thank you very much we will be back if we ever come nearby to Harrogate again.

Booked in with 45 minutes of ringing last minute. Brilliant warm welcome very accommodating the staff couldn’t do enough for us the food was faultless although me personally is pathetic with hot stuff chose lamb korma the lamb just melted but I still thought the korma was hot lol the staff brought me a yogurt drink they made for me personally to cool my mouth, then a free sambuca haha. Couldn’t recommend this place enough will definitely be back when we return to Harrogate fantastic food with staff to Mach.

It was a late stop after the Atif Aslam concert. The service was 10/10 and the food 10/10. The staff Are friendly and polite. The manger gave you a warm welcome too. The food tasted amazing and I look forward to going back again.

What a little gem this indian restaurant is we have just had a lovely meal in nice surroundings and the staff were both friendly and efficient. We wanted ice cream to finish our meal off and the waiter recommended we try indian dumplings and ice cream, never had them before and they were lovely. We finished our excellent meal off with coffee and it was accompanied with mints and a packet of biscuits, never had that before nice touch and every restaurant should do it. The owner and his sons should be very proud.

Absolutely amazing food, very attentive staff and reasonably priced, fab atmosphere, in total, bloody loved it! Wouldn’t recommend the takeaway service but the in house service is fabulous

A reunion with some old colleagues. Quite a big party of us but the staff dealt with us very efficiently and politely. My meal was great and a lovely blend of just the right heat and flavour. Would definitely visit again!

Came in with my Dad. Can tell you what, not leaving disappointed. The spices are amazing, the food is brilliant. The Lamb just falls a part and is incredible. Highly recommend this place 100%

2nd time we have been here as a family, the first time was fantastic. The second went above that!!! We had 2 Lamb dishes. They were exceptional! Would have absolutely no hesitation to recommend eating here. Great service great food 👌

An excellent meal and evening. We were a walk in on a Thursday evening, when most other establishments were either fully booked or just full. Shalimar were able to accommodate us, despite appearing very busy and all staff were attentive. After a short wait at the bar with a drink, we were seated and offered the option of sundries. The food was unhurried, well prepared and absolutely delicious, right from pickle tray to kulfi. We were not rushed at any point and were able to enjoy our food. The atmosphere was vibrant and friendly, with a few regulars. The staff were pleasant throughout the evening and knowledgeable about the food they were serving.
