Sukhothai Harrogate in Harrogate

Can't believe all the amazing reviews! Quite possibly the worst Thai food I have eaten. Ordered 3 different dishes and they all looked and tasted the same. The sticky rice was so hard it was impossible to eat. Friendly staff though and nice decor.

It was a great experience from start to finnish form the delightful staff to the beautiful decor for starters i had dumplings that were massive my wife had tempura prawns and they were like baseball bats! Both were delicious. For mains i had mixed seafood and black bean sauce wich was out of this world. We would definitely come back 5 stars isnt enough to rate Sukhothai

Greeted by friendly staff. Ordered 4 starters and they all came out within 3-5 minutes, which I questioned the dexterity and quality.Ordered a chefs recommendation. I was disappointed how it came out and tasted. Over cooked battered chicken. The sauce was too spicy, lacked balance in flavour. Shame because it didn't reflect in the price.Friendly, polite speedy service but let down by the chefs for me.

Beautiful restaurant, reminded me of the amazing restaurants in Las Vegas with its lavish decor. Lovely staff, super clean, actively wiping down chairs and tables between sittings. The food is exquisite, the best Thai prawns I have ever had and they were HUGE!! The pork belly was also the best we'd had in a long time! Would recommend this restaurant if you're in Harrogate.

Ate dinner here with some friends & loved it.We ordered the veggie set menu x 2 & the festive set veggie menu x 2 & it was excellent.The service was fantastic too, we were very well looked after without being rushed.I'm definitely eating here again soon.

Staff were really friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, with veggie/vegan section. Really liked how the tofu in the curry was fried. The Thai curries were so flavoursome and rich but also distinctive. Atmosphere and decor was really nice too.

Such an excellent Thai restaurant. Busy, buzzing, friendly and delicious.The massaman curry was insanely creamy and tasty. The fish cakes were moist, fluffy and spicy. The prawn green curry was punchy and fragrant.Excellent service too.

Wow! What a fantastic experience, the staff are so polite and helpful. As well as amazing food! They had so much to offer on the menu, it was so difficult to choose what to have because of the variety!I'd highly recommend this as a must go when visiting Harrogate! (Be sure to book as it gets busy!)

Food is really nice, but I remember times when the quality was even better. The chilli rating is not reliable. Service is perfect!

A few years ago I felt like the food was a bit westernised/bland for my taste, but a couple of weeks ago I decided to give Sukothai another go and ordered take out from them. I ended up ordering twice in one week because the food was fantastic! The panang curry, pad Thai and tom yum goong are delicious. I also ordered the mango and sticky rice and it was lovely - just like I used to have back home. Perfectly ripe sweet mango, chewy steamed sticky rice with slightly salted coconut cream. Planning on going into the restaurant for my 30th birthday soon, I'm that impressed!
