Megna Indian Restaurant & Takeaway in Selby

Some places shoot themselves in the foot dont they absolutely pathetic,i live just over the toll bridge from Megna so virtually in Selby,placed a £42.00 takeaway order and just received a phone call from the restaurant just stating the Just Eat App has not added a £1 delivery charge to my order???Dont worry i will give the delivery person a £1 when they deliver it i said to bring it back.Not exactly my fault if the app didnt add a £1 pound delivery charge to my order but rather than make a phone call to tell me i think i might have let a £1 charge go.;-D You really couldnt make it up.

visited Megna with some friends on a Saturday night. The restaurant was clean and well set out to accommodate large groups and smaller ones. Service was excellent, very attentive. Food was delicious and nice portion sizes. Bring your own alcohol but alcohol can also be purchased in the restaurant. Fantastic all round restaurant serving good food.

Absolutely love this restaurant, staff are always polite and make you feel welcome.

Nothing but a Greece fest!!! Absolutely discussing no flavour. Repeated on my sister in law. Appalling! We should have just brought a few ready meals from Tesco. Nothing nice at all and we spent nearly £60 for the privilege.

Food is perfect, would recommend everything on menu.

Used to eat here regularly when I lived in Selby. Came with friends when I was back visiting. Food still as good as ever

Came because of the reviews and all I can say is they must be paid for and fake. The building was dead, the decor is dated, the food is bland and tasteless and when the waiter came out and asked if everything was alright with the food and I told him to take the Bombay aloos off as I didn't like them and unlike any I've ever had before he started arguing with me ! Never have I experienced that in a restaurant before. He said I've been cooking them 20 years and no complaints and everywhere cooks them different , I said I work all over the country and have been eating them for 20 years and have never tasted any so dry and bland in my life. Poor food and bad attitude service... Avoid and they're lucky I gave them 2 stars.
