Regency Restaurant in Selby

We had guests so thought we would try this restaurant. What a truly pleasant experience. The staff were superb, the food amazing, especially the sushi, it was like a work of art. We will definitely go again. So nice to have a pleasant dine in experience.

I really enjoy the food but I'm fed up of trying to order and them accepting and cancelling the order almost immediately so I will no longer be ordering from here as they take the money and take nearly a day to refund it after cancelling the order

We absolutely love Regency - they are the absolute best Chinese in town. Not only is the food great but if you are dining in, the wait staff are just so friendly and attentive. Plus, we love how they make a busy restaurant still feel quite quiet and enjoyable. I would highly recommend the crispy beef in OK sauce and the vegetable chow mein - gorgeous!

Ordered many times from here and it has been good but tonight the food was not great. We ordered amongst other things 1/2 a duck - this was extremely dry and partly inedible. What a shame

Ordered a meal at 17.40pm for delivery at 19.30pm arrived at 21.20pm by taxi, driver obviously did not represent the restaurant or care it was nearly two hours late, and despite ringing several times before the meal arrived and afterwards we could not get through. Just-Eat sent several delayed messages, and whilst the meal was satisfactory we would not use them again for this poor service, unhappy customer.

I must admit that food is better compared to other takeaways. However recently, there's been a couple of incidents - food undercooked (pink meat) and a 2h delivery delay. Trying to contact the restaurant is a mission impossible. Phone line is jammed and when you finally get through the call is disconnected.

Really enjoyed it! Two of us arrived at 8 o'clock on Thursday night and the place was very quiet, so we didn't have to wait for the table at all. We've chosen all you can eat option. Staff is very polite and makes sure you always have something on your plate. Food is very good, made from fresh and very tasty. I'll definitely go there again.

This is my come to Chinese in Selby. Right in the centre, is usually quite quiet when I go. Service is always good and staff helpful. I go for the buffet, all you eat for £10 at lunch or £16 for dinner. Best thing is the food is cooked fresh. Highly recommend!!!
