Fabulous fresh food, AMAZING.Great atmosphere, great friendly staff.Well worth the money.Thanks Black Dog Inn we will definitely be back. Best we have ever tasted.

I came here for the first time yesterday and it is absolutely stunning. Very clean & a very beautiful place. The service was outstanding and they couldn't do enough for us. I will be back in the future. Hats off to the hardworking staff! The food was absolutely fantastic too. In a class of their own!

I love this pub. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, the food is delicious. I’m not that comfortable that the male owner is a bit too familiar, but I think that’s just his nature and maybe me not liking that. He’s clearly a happy landlord.

Waitress was a little OVER enthusiastic. Didn't realise that could be a thing and the pork belly was rush cooked so lacking in moisture and tenderness. The sauce was lovely but the red cabbage was far too sweet. The cheesecake was nice and firm but had an off, powdery texture. Overall, nice but a bit dear for what it was

Booked a table as a midweek treat for us and was greeted on arrival by a lovely gentleman.Ordered our starters and mains and didn't wait long at all for them to come. The food was plentiful and cooked to perfection and tasted lovely. Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. Will definitely be going back again soon!!

Marvelous place! Had Sunday Lunch and we, despite not having booked in advance, we greeted, seated and served faster and with a lot more courteous efficiency than in many places where we HAD booked. Good honest food and drink. ... and staff that, as a former employer, I would have died for!

Best pub food about! It is our family go to every time we have a get-together due to the tasty food and amazing service - even when we come in tables of 10-18 people. 100% recommend to anyone.

This pub is fab, staff are super friendly.. Nothing is too much trouble for them.. Good is amazing, cannot fault it at all..always too much so often need a doggy bag haha... Try it you won't be disappointed X❤️

First time we have been, but there for a bit of a family celebration.All socially distanced and with extra dividers, very clear were you need to go.They were very busy, so need to book in advance. Plenty of parking.Staff very helpful and a very good choice on the menu, food and drink wise.They are a Theakston pub and have others on draft as well. So will be definitely going back to try out the others.Definitely worth a visit if you have not been already.
