Great food, great place & lovely friendly & helpful staff. Definitely recommend it for good quality pub food.

Lovely lunch as always. Never had a bad meal here. Warm welcome and a top class roast with amazing Yorkshire puds. Actually reluctant to recommend it as it means more people will go and we might not always get a table. Always looks after my dad too whenever he goes. Really wonderful pub and restaurant.

Nice pub in a lovely location. Plenty of seats inside & out. Lovely menu & not overpriced. Good service. Would recommend a visit, but you do need a car if you're not local.

I had the steak and ale pie with seasonal veg, mash and gravy - absolutely amazing. The better half had beef and onion baguette, chips and we shared some onion rings. She said it was gorgeous, and the onion rings were the best we've ever had.

Called in for lunch.Had the steak and ale pie, absolutely bang on.Everything freshly made and pipping hot.Dog friendly in the bar.Well worth a visit.

Just called in for a quick drink while out on a bike ride .....and can't believe I was charged £4.70 for a pint and half of dilute orange juice 😮😮😮 I'm still in shock ,will defo be taking our own on our next ride .just can't believe it. Wouldn't like to know how much it would of Been of coke 🤔

The food and service are good but it's a shame that the owners don't use the central heating system, I have been twice in the last four weeks, the first at 12.30 lunchtime when the radiators were clap cold and the second around 3.30 when the radiators were also turned off, both times I had to eat with my coat still on and the food went cold so quickly it was inedible. I did bring it to the waiters attention on the second visit when he asked if all was ok as he could see how much cold food went back to the kitchen, he simply shrugged !!. Won't be going again unless it's summertime.

My husband and myself have just had an amazing lunch! Friendly staff, extensive menu very reasonably priced. The portions were generous and everything was piping hot and delicious. We have been a few times now and never disappointed. Best chips and onion rings ever, and everything is obviously cooked from scratch

Great food and service! Had the best evening here for a family dinner, as a group of 22 including 4 children to be sat, fed at the same time with drinks topped up and have no complaints at all is in my opinion fantastic! The service from all of the front of house team was brilliant, really on the ball and well organised and all queries prior to our visit had been sent through Facebook and were replied to quickly and politely. We will be returning
