Staff lovely and food was ok but not worth the price in my opinion though my daughter went a few weeks before and said it was much better then than when we went together

Our dinner yesterday was delicious. We got treated like king and queen and I was really appreciated for it.. our desert was beautiful as well and we would like to say thank you very much to all the staff..

Our first visit to the Drovers Arms but definitely not our last. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious and hot. The best sweet potato fries I've ever had. We didn't have room for pudding so can't comment, maybe next time.

Great country pub. Large seating area inside with additional outdoor seating and more seating on grassed area by car park. Friendly staff. Handpulled cask beers were Timothy Taylor's Landlord, Ainsty Ales Bantam Best and Ainsty Ales On the Hoof. I had the latter and it was a good beer. Good menu too with vegetarian and gluten free options available and not a bad price. I had Wensleydale, beetroot and rocket sandwich on Ciabatta with a portion of 'Posh chips' which were twice cooked, Truffle oil and parmesan shavings. All extremely tasty and the salad was such a colourful splash on the plate. Everything tasted as good as it looked. Fab presentation. I had had plenty in truth, but once I heard all desserts are homemade in house, well, red rag to a bull, ha! Torn between Strawberry Eton Mess or sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce, I plumped for the latter. No regrets, it was divine and presentation was exemplary. Very highly recommended.

Beer not brilliantService was not impressive, though it was busy to be fair.There is no mobile internet in this area, and despite BT WiFi (£5 per hour), and loads of SSID names sounding like a business set (eg beginning "EXT2 bt1234..") we were told there was none available. Not good in the modern world.Interesting menu, should have been good, but for instance the chips were not crisp and tasted of stale oil.Next table had a diner vaping, not nice in a food restaurant anymore.Nothing terrible, just not a nice experience. Maybe we just got unlucky that night.

Great food and drinks.Only issues we had was the table we was given had servers constantly walking past which made me slightly uncomfortable as the stones on the ground kept getting accidentally kicked into my legs . The table was booked for 6 but we wasn't seated till 6:24pm however the food was fast and fresh and fairly priced. Massively recommend the chicken and ham pie!

A decent selection of beers and definitely more of a restaurant than a bar. Friendly bar staff and ample parking. 2 open fires in the bar area which goes round to a large seated area for meals. Marking down one point as there are plenty of places with more atmosphere, but absolutely fine for a meal. Expect mains to be in the £14 mark range to well over £20 for steaks etc. Would happily come back.

Nice place found on route to a few days away in York. Stopped for breakfast and (although they didn't have all options and still brought my friend black pudding when she requested without) it was a tasty meal. my only comment would be the bread could have been better, seemed thin and cheap rather than a hearty locally produced farmhouse or sourdough. Definitely a good place though. Gin selection appeared huge and the day time menu had plenty of choice! Dog friendly it appeared. Nice bar snacks in big jars too which ya sweet.

Very scenic drive over to this pub with lush greenery everywhere. Came on a sunny Sunday for lunch and it was great. It was a quaint, cosy pub with great food. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there however my only reservation is that on our pork meal both the apple sauce and crackling both advertised on the menu were absent otherwise it would have been a great meal out.
