The George and Dragon in Selby

The staff are amazing, the food is lovely and the Sunday carvery is out of this world. The veg choice is phenomenal and the meat just melts. Dog friendly in the bar and Motorhome friendly too.

Had Sunday lunch here today it was amazing, lots of meat never seen such a choice in vegetables. will definitely be returning.

Stopped here after a girly weekend. Service was friendly and welcoming. Carvery was one of the nicest I’ve ever had and a fantastic price. Had everything I wanted on a roast dinner. Definitely deserves 5*

Not been here for 20 years! Just called for lunch and it was absolutely lovely and great value for money. The service is excellent! Will definitely be back!

Nice big portions and had an offer on for 2 meals which was good value

Really nice semi rural pub, polite staff & a wide variety of drinks. Food was absolutely outstandingly fresh and tasted lovely.

Stopped of on the way to Manchester from Hull. Goggled fir a place to eat and the George and Dragon, Whitley came up. Polite and friendly staff made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived through the door. Decent food especially the pie dish. Massive beer garden with lots of tables for outside dining. Also a nice terrace which could do with a canopy and some outdoor heating for the colder nights. (If it's not already done).

Passed by on the way to the garden centre Thursday. Called in for tea tonight. Good food, friendly staff and dog friendly too. Will definitely be going back

So so so friendly. The food was really good but it was a lot of carbs and no major salad dishes but that might be due to the location and obviously not have any idea of what clientele will arrive or when. I would definitely eat there again.

Lovely place, plenty of outside space a great menu and great choice of drinks. Nice staff too 👍
