Patoo in Sheffield

Lovely Thai food and service was phenomenal lovely waiting staff, so polite friendly and attentive. They even managed to be civil to rude anti-vaxxers next to us who were patronising to staff wearing masks. So BIG respect!

This proved to be a lovely alternative to our usual Thai restaurant. It's always a risk trying somewhere new but we were not dissapointed. Our meal was really good. Definitely recommend trying Patoo Thai.

The lemon, ginger and chilli seabass (34 or 36 on the menu) was the best Thai experience imaginable. Thoroughly recommend. Delightful food with superb ambiance.

We have visited this restaurant several times and the food has always been excellent. The service we received though was appalling. After waiting a long time to order we then waited at least 40minutes after the starter for the main course to arrive. The waiter avoided eye contact and finally came over to say it's coming...which still took a further 10mins. No apology, offer of a drink. Clearly busy with takeaways prioritised over diners. Need to improve communication with diners please.

Amazing restaurant and the best thai green curry I've ever had! Food was absolutely delicious! Service was excellent and there was a really nice ambience inside the restaurant. Everything was very clean and covid safe! Highly recommend!

Had a takeaway and the satay chicken was in a watery coconutty sauce with barely any peanut flavour. Scallops in the salad were raw with an overpoweringly pungent fermented fish sauce that covered up all other tastes. Tom Yum had a few mushrooms and two tomatoes floating in a bland watery broth. Massaman curry was again watery with raw potatoes. The only dish that was adequate was the duck spring rolls. I feel a bit queasy after - one of the worst takeaways I’ve had. Don’t understand the other reviews calling it authentic - Thai food can be so much better. I hate being down on a local independent place, but this was not good.

We went to Patoo Thai for the first time last week and I was extremely pleased. The service and the food was impeccable. The cutlery and plates were also warm. I highly recommend trying this place if you haven't before.

Absolutely delicious food and lovely atmosphere. The Thai green chicken curry is my personal fave, I also adore the pad Thai noodles they are immense! This is easily the best Thai restaurant in Sheffield and is probably even my fave restaurant in the whole of Sheffield.Will always highly recommend! 🍲🥢😋
