Takeaway was poor quality, quite obviously was not fresh, ready in minutes, rice was stewed, naan was burnt, chicken very dry and rubbery texture, disappointing won't go back.

Fabulous service and a consistently high quality curry. This has become a family favourite

Placed order last night for 7pm, it was nearly 8pm when it came. Food was only just warm, chicken was very dry and they forgot to send the naan breads, food was nearly eaten by the time they came and when they did they was over cooked. Very overpriced for the standard of the food…

Food was ok but nothing extraordinary..bland to be fair. Nan breads were fat and doughy. Not outstanding at all. 3 adults .. starters, 2 drinks each and a main... £90.. Really over priced for the standard presented. I got the feeling the restaurant is hiking prices to gain some financial traction after covid pandemic losses, not worth £90 .. .. 50 or 60 would've been more realistic. There are enough quality competing indian restaurants in York that will put Indian Ocean in the shade on value and quality.
